Decent tube amp for around $600?

Time to upgrade from crappy digital effects.

Has to have 2 channels (3 would be better), at least 30 watts, a good
range of sounds (including a clean channel and a high-gain sound for
metal), and absolutely MUST be footswitchable.

I've heard a lot of good things about Randalls; I was looking into an
RG50TC. Any thoughts?
